Hi! My name is Angelie, the soap lady behind Lily And Sparrow Soap. My background is in the arts - my passion ever since and I’ve always been someone who likes to make or build.

After learning that soap is actually something I can learn to make, it has been my earnest pursuit. I was all the more excited that I can make a product using natural ingredients that will not cause long-term bad effects to my family and my own health. It was an intimidating idea at first, but I educated myself, learning from seasoned soapmakers, herbalists, and bought and read books- A LOT. I then attempted my very first soap loaf made hot process. I fell in love with it - the craftsmanship and the creamy bubbly lather it made was just wonderful.

After a year I was confident enough to begin formulating my own ingredients. I tried to be as intentional as I can so that every bar would not only be cleansing but nourishes as well.

I use ingredients that come from suppliers who make high-quality products, safe, and as well as advocate for sustainability.
